Morning Moon

This morning it was even colder than the day before, it was a clear sky and the temperature had dropped according to the thermometer outside the kitchen window to -6.5C (20F). The roofs of the houses get more and more icy and it looks like the Swedish winter has really started now. And since the (full) moon was still shining into the window it was a great morning to show you the view from the breakfast table.
The first photo shows the moon in close up with the very common "skata" (black-billed magpie) in the trees. And the photo below is the view of the street I live on taken through the kitchen window with still the same full moon.

Are you in the phase of 24hr daylight yet? When does that happen?
The moon was truly amazing last night, wasn't it? I love the view from your breakfast window.
Tell us how the culture is different. I'd love to know.

Agnes, the 24hr daylight phase is around june 21st and for that I have to be up a little more north from here. Right now the days only get shorter with the shortest day around dec 21st which means there will be about 5 hours of daylight here by then (and zero up north).

PM, from 72 to 30 in 2 days, that sounds horrible.. Hope you'll be back in the 70s soon :)

Leuke foto's van Sydney en jezelf. Wat is ze al groot. Hoe denk je het te organiseren om haar weer te zien? Virginie la trouve très mignonne et espère de la rencontrer avec ses cousines bientôt.
