Custom Calendar (5/12)

The always impressive Grand Canyon, that I got the opportunity to visit after 15 years again in April 2005, stood model for this photo. Something that I have realized is that there is no way possible to really capture with a camera the overwhelming image that it leaves in your mind. But of course one can always try. I liked that I was able to capture some of the depth with this photo. But it still doesn't come close to the live image.
