Custom Calendar (10/12)
Many who have been in Yosemite should be familiar with this view from the Yosemite Valley. What I like a lot in this photo is the light that makes it very dramatic. It was early in the evening and the sun only showed its face from time to time. And I was able to get this shot at one of those moments when it lit up a nice part of the valley. So this became my October photo of my calendar.

I got a good giggle from your comment "Many who have been in Yosemite..."
My husband has been EVERYWHERE in his lifetime. I have been out of Texas only 3 times and have seen very little.
He is constantly seeing places on TV and retorting his superiority with a hearty "been there!".
He did the very same when I looked at your photo. LOL
I give up. I'm living vicariously and that's that!
